7 Things Link-Up #13!

Guess what guess what guess what!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for Seven Questions with Gentri Lee!  And a goofy photo, from the American Museum of Natural History!  3,089 lbs?  I sure have let myself go...

1. If you were to start your own business, what would it be?
Ugh!  No thank you!  Having worked for many a small business, I would never, EVER have one of my own.  Sorry!  I've done corporate taxes, been responsible for payroll, played every role possible.  I hath not a business head.  I have a creative head.  Let me think up your jingles, or be a part of the team.  But I don't want to have to be the 24/7 responsible one for ANYTHING.  What a nightmare!

2. You wake up on the wrong side of the bed, do you embrace your grumpiness or try to fight it?
Apparently, I stomp around.  Eli and I laugh about it.  Whenever I'm in a bad mood, he makes Skipit imitate me - stomping around and then keeping perfectly still and then EXPLODING with rage.  It usually goes away by noon, though.

3. What's the very first memory you have?
I may be fabricating this memory out of a photograph, but I vaguely remember standing in front of a big, sunny window, holding my younger brother when he was a baby.  But that may have been concocted.

4. The world is ending, what do you do? Allow yourself to die? Fight? Hide? Etc.
I'd proudly hide!  I'm okay as long as I have Eli with me.  I guess I have separation anxiety?  But I always worry that something catastrophic will happen and I can't get ahold of Eels.

5. What is your favorite meal of the day?
Dinner!  Breakfast is when I have to eat something nutritious, lunch I'm lucky to get at all.  But dinner is awesome because I can do whatever I want!  I can cook something special, of just have a cheese stick and a spoonful of everything in the fridge.  Wooo hoooo!

6. How do you best learn? Visual? Listening? Hands on?
I'm really good at memorizing patterns, mnemonic devices, and gimmicks.  Or relate new information to things you already have memorized.  Like Nancy Spungen was found murdered the day after my dad's birthday in 1978?  Easier to remember if you already know the date!
